This Project Manager position offers an exceptional opportunity to lead complex civil engineering schemes across Greater Manchester. You will take full ownership of multi-project delivery from design through to completion, managing financial forecasting, client relations, and site safety standards.
Deliver multiple ongoing civil infrastructure projects to scope, schedule, budget, and commercial performance targets.
Lead site investigations, coordinate work packages, and oversee ITP, RAMS, and QA file management.
Maintain strong client relationships while identifying value engineering opportunities and pricing variation scope.
About You
You are a highly capable Project Manager with a proven background in heavy civil engineering and water infrastructure. Your expertise includes shaft sinking, deep drainage, and strong commercial management under NEC contract mechanisms.
Hold a recognized Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering alongside active CSCS Manager, SMSTS, and NEBOSH credentials.
Demonstrate extensive experience managing water sector infrastructure projects, specifically including shaft sinking and deep drainage.
Possess strong commercial acumen with deep working knowledge of NEC contracts (Early Warnings and Compensation Events).
Show proficiency with construction programming tools such as Primavera P6 or equivalent planning software.
