Who We Are
SiriusPoint is a specialty underwriter providing solutions to clients and brokers around the world. Bermuda-headquartered with offices in New York, London, Stockholm and other locations, we are listed on the New York Stock Exchange (SPNT). We have licenses to write Property & Casualty and Accident & Health insurance and reinsurance globally. Our offering and distribution capabilities are strengthened by a portfolio of strategic partnerships with Managing General Agents and program managers. With over $3.0 billion total capital, SiriusPoint’s operating companies have a financial strength rating of A from AM Best, Fitch and S&P, and A3 from Moody’s.
The company is undertaking a Claims Transformation programme to modernise its claims capabilities across systems, processes, and operating models. This includes the implementation of new technology platforms, optimisation of claims handling processes, and enhancing data and reporting capabilities to support improved operational efficiency and customer outcomes.
The objective is to deliver a scalable, technology-enabled claims function aligned to SiriusPoint’s strategic goals, with initial phases scheduled to start delivery in 2026 focusing on platform implementation and key capability enhancements, followed by subsequent phases delivering further optimisation and innovation.
To achieve success, contributions will be needed from several teams across the company including Claims, Underwriting, Actuarial, Finance, Data & Analytics, and Information Technology. The project will also be supported by multiple external delivery partners responsible for system implementation, integration, and specialist capabilities. Given the breadth of stakeholders, dependency on third-party delivery partners, and target delivery timelines, the company is seeking a highly organised, detail-oriented and delivery-focused project manager to drive forward the initiative and successful execution of the programme.
As the project manager for the Claims Transformation programme, you will report directly to the Head of Claims Transformation and Change who in turn reports to the Global Head of Claims.. There will also be indirect reporting responsibilities to the Transformation and Change Director via the EPMO. You will work closely with senior Claims stakeholders, technology and data teams, enterprise architects, and external vendors delivering key components of the transformation.
In this role, you will play a pivotal role in driving and coordinating key workstreams within the Claims Transformation Programme, managing dependencies with other programmes and projects in the transformation portfolio, managing suppliers and ensuring that the project deliverables align with SiriusPoint's strategic goals. You will oversee the project team, act as a liaison between contractors, vendors, and SMEs, manage project timelines, scope changes, and mitigate risks and issues across the project.
The role can be based in New York, US or London, UK, preferably the UK. Key project and business stakeholders are split between New York and London. The role will require flexibility in terms of working hours to accommodate working with
US and UK time zones a minimum of 2 days per week (e.g., early start if EST time zone, starting at 7am or working to 7pm/8pm some evenings if working GMT time zone).
We are open to setting this up as a day rate contract at ~$950-$1,150 per day 1099-NEC / £700-£850 per day outside IR35 due to the specialist nature of the engagement. We are also open to other contracting options.
