Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Contracts / Project Manager to join a well-established refurbishment and fit-out contractor due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work.
With over 30 years of experience, the business delivers refurbishment, fit-out and design & build projects across the Higher Education, Commercial, Healthcare and Public sectors, with project values ranging from £10,000 to £10 million. Operating nationally, they have built long-standing relationships with prestigious clients through framework agreements and repeat business.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project or Contracts Manager to take ownership of projects from pre-construction through to completion, managing programmes, subcontractors, client relationships and commercial performance while working within a supportive and growing business.
Job Requirements
Previous experience as a Project Manager or Contracts Manager within the construction industry Proven experience delivering refurbishment, fit-out or Design & Build projects Experience managing projects from pre-construction through to completion Construction-related qualification (Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent) CSCS Card Strong commercial awareness and programme management skills Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities Experience coordinating subcontractors, consultants and design teams Full UK Driving Licence Willingness to travel throughout England as required Salary & Benefits

Manage refurbishment and fit-out projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover Develop and manage project programmes, procurement strategies and resource planning Coordinate subcontractors, consultants and design teams throughout project delivery Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders Monitor project performance, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and within budget Drive quality, health & safety and compliance across all projects Identify value engineering opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives Work closely with commercial and operational teams to ensure successful project delivery Attend project meetings and provide regular progress updates to senior managementBennett & Game Recruitment are acting as a Recruitment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
