Role description:


As Project Manager you will be responsible for the successful delivery of projects, ensuring they meet agreed objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality standards. This role requires effective planning, coordination, and leadership to manage resources, stakeholders, and risks throughout the project lifecycle. As Project Manager you will play a vital role in driving the  project performance and fostering collaboration across teams to achieve desired outcomes.


This role requires a proactive, organised professional with strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to deliver high-quality results and support organisational success


Role accountabilities:



  • Project Planning


Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.



  • Delivery Management


Oversee project execution, ensuring milestones are achieved and deliverables meet quality standards.



  • Stakeholder Engagement


Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, team members, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and clear communication.



  • Risk Management


Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to minimise impact on project timelines and objectives.



  • Team Coordination


Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring collaboration, accountability, and effective problem-solving.



  • Budget Control


Monitor and manage project finances, ensuring delivery within budgetary constraints.



  • Reporting: 


Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders and senior leadership.



  • Compliance and Governance 


Ensure all projects meet organisational standards, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.



  • Continuous Improvement


Identify opportunities to enhance project management processes and drive efficiencies.


Qualifications & Experience:


As Project Manager you will play a critical role in delivering construction projects across sectors such as education, infrastructure, housing, and large-scale complex developments. This position requires a deep understanding of construction processes and project management principles, combined with sector-specific expertise and the ability to engage and manage diverse stakeholders effectively.



  • Project Management Expertise


Proven experience managing construction projects through all stages, including feasibility, planning, procurement, delivery, and handover. Strong knowledge of project management tools, methodologies.



  • Sector-Specific Knowledge


In-depth understanding of the specific requirements, regulations, and challenges across education, infrastructure, housing, and large-scale developments, including client and stakeholder priorities.



  • Construction Processes


Comprehensive knowledge of construction methodologies, design management, and building processes, with experience managing multi-disciplinary teams, contractors, and consultants.



  • Risk and Issue Management


Skilled in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks while resolving issues proactively to ensure smooth project delivery.



  • Stakeholder Engagement


Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, design teams, and public authorities, ensuring effective communication and alignment across all project phases.



  • Financial Management


Proficiency in managing budgets, cost control, and financial reporting, ensuring projects are delivered within financial parameters.



  • Leadership & Team Management


Experience in leading and motivating multi-disciplinary teams, fostering collaboration, and driving accountability and performance.



  • Contract Administration


An understanding and practical experience in administering NEC contracts, including the preparation and management of contractual documentation, change control processes, early warning notifications, and compensation events.



  • Regulatory Awareness


Familiarity with planning permissions, building regulations, CDM 2015, Building Safety Act and environmental considerations
