We are seeking an experienced DV Cleared Project Manager / SQUAD Lead to join a high-profile government programme based in Corsham. This is an exciting opportunity to lead Agile delivery within a secure environment, working closely with technical teams, programme leadership, and customer stakeholders to deliver critical IT capabilities.
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring successful Agile delivery across Programme Increments while acting as the key interface between the Development Squad, Project Managers, and Business stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
Collaborating with the customer to agree deployment schedules for each Programme Increment and ensuring compliance with governance processes. Driving effective communication and collaboration across multiple delivery teams. Taking accountability for the delivery of the Core IT Platform, including the design, build, and stabilisation of Factory, SIT, Pre-Production, and Production environments. Working closely with the Programme Manager and Technical Lead to ensure Agile delivery artefacts are maintained and aligned with programme objectives. Leading daily stand-ups and managing sprint delivery, ensuring teams remain focused on delivering high-quality outcomes. Building strong relationships with customer stakeholders and acting as the primary point of contact throughout the delivery lifecycle. Managing inter-team dependencies and collaborating with other Agile teams to achieve programme objectives. Facilitating the resolution of risks, issues, and blockers to maintain delivery momentum. Supporting continuous improvement across Agile delivery practices.
Essential Skills & Experience
We're looking for someone who can demonstrate:
Active DV (Developed Vetting) Security Clearance. Proven experience delivering complex IT projects within Agile environments. Strong Project Management and Agile delivery experience. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. The ability to lead cross-functional technical teams and foster collaboration. Experience leading daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies. A delivery-focused approach with a track record of meeting programme objectives. Experience managing dependencies, risks, and resolving delivery blockers.
