Project Manager (Electrical)

Our client is a well-established Mechanical & Electrical Contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality projects across the commercial, industrial and residential sectors. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their team.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing electrical projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

* Managing project delivery, planning, programming and budgets.

* Developing and maintaining project programmes and monitoring progress against key milestones.

* Coordinating clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams.

* Managing project costs, commercial performance and financial reporting.

* Identifying and mitigating project risks.

* Conducting site visits and ensuring compliance with health & safety and project requirements.

* Preparing regular project reports and providing updates to key stakeholders.

* Leading and motivating project teams.

* Managing multiple priorities while maintaining strong client relationships.

* Negotiating effectively with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

* Proven experience managing electrical or M&E projects from inception to completion.

* Strong project planning, organisational and time-management skills.

* Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management abilities.

* Good commercial awareness, including budget and cost control.

* Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and complex projects.

* Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.

* A collaborative approach with the ability to work across multiple departments.

Qualifications

Essential:

* HNC/HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.

* SMSTS.

* Relevant CSCS/ECS Card.

* Full UK Driving Licence.
