Project Manager - Engineering, Electronics, or Automotive

Our client, a global leader in vehicle safety systems, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Manager to join their team. Based at their Dartford site, this role will support the delivery of new product development and other key business projects. You'll work within a dynamic environment, driving project success through planning, coordination, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and support projects through the full lifecycle, particularly in New Product Introduction (NPI).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines and quality standards.
• Assist in developing and maintaining project KPIs and reporting dashboards.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and manage changes to scope, schedule, and cost.
• Communicate effectively across all levels of the business and external stakeholders.
• Represent the company professionally at events such as exhibitions and workshops.

About You:

• 1-2 years of experience as a Project Manager within an engineering, electronics, or automotive environment.
• Solid understanding of project delivery and life cycle management.
• Confident managing or supporting multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and project management tools.
• Flexible and willing to travel when needed.

Qualifications:

• HNC, BTEC, City & Guilds in electronics (Degree desirable).
• GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English.
• Formal project management qualification or proven hands-on experience.
