Reporting to the Operations Director, the Project Manager will take responsibility for the successful planning, coordination and delivery of projects from pre-construction through to completion. The role requires close collaboration with clients, designers, suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within scope and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will be the primary point of contact throughout project delivery, representing Deanhouse professionally while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and ensuring a first-class client experience.
Projects will range from small-scale joinery installations to large, complex interior fit-out projects involving both direct and subcontract labour across the UK

Due to continued growth across both existing and emerging markets, we are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to join our expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on projects ranging from bespoke joinery installations through to multi-million-pound interior fit-out schemes across the UK
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Delivery
* Attend site surveys to assist with initial project briefs and site measurements to support the commercial team during the costing process.
* Review project designs, specifications, scope of works and supporting documentation prior to project commencement, identifying potential issues, discrepancies and opportunities for improvement.
* Develop, manage and update project programmes throughout the lifecycle of each project, ensuring these are fully coordinated with subcontractors, suppliers and stakeholders to ensure works are completed in accordance with programme requirements.
* Attend pre-start, progress and client meetings as required and provide regular project updates and reports to clients and the Operations Director.
Health, Safety & Compliance
* Prepare, collate and manage project health and safety documentation for both direct labour and subcontractors.
* Issue project-specific health and safety information to clients and relevant stakeholder and ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with company policies, CDM requirements, Building Regulations and current health and safety legislation.
* Carry out regular site audits and compliance inspections to ensure safe working practices are maintained.
Quality Management
* Conduct regular quality assurance inspections and snagging reviews throughout project delivery.
* Maintain high standards of workmanship and finish across all projects, ensuring that any defects or non-conformances are identified, communicated and rectified promptly.
Stakeholder Management
* Act as the face of Deanhouse on site and during client interactions, representing the business professionally at all times.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams, proactively identifying opportunities to strengthen existing client relationships and support repeat business opportunities.
Project Close-Out & Continuous Improvement
* Produce and compile project Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals and close-out documentation.
* Participate in post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and opportunities for process improvement, providing detailed feedback to improve project delivery, operational performance and client satisfaction across the business.
What We're Looking For
Essential Experience
* Minimum 5 years' experience as a Project Manager or Contracts Manager within the UK commercial interior fit-out sector.
* Strong understanding of project programming and project controls.
* Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders including clients, subcontractors, suppliers and consultants.
* Strong knowledge of current construction legislation, health & safety requirements and building regulations.
* Proficient user of IT including Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, MS Project) with experience working with cloud-based systems, digital project information and mobile technology.
* Excellent communication, planning and organisational skills.
