Project Manager MECIA

Job Description - Project Manager MECIA

Are you a proven Project Manager with experience delivering complex projects in the water or wider infrastructure sector, and ready to take ownership of high-impact programmes in Greater London?

Do you bring strong planning and commercial awareness, confidence with MS Project, and the ability to lead stakeholders through change while keeping safety and quality at the forefront?

This is a hands-on opportunity to manage critical infrastructure projects that protect essential services—working with expert delivery teams, engaging clients directly, and helping shape future work. If you’re looking for meaningful challenges and genuine development, read on and apply now.

The Opportunity

Join an established, safety-first infrastructure business with a long-track record of delivering value-added engineering solutions across regulated and technically demanding environments. You’ll be part of a friendly, respectful culture that encourages growth, supports training and development, and empowers people to thrive—while contributing to projects that improve resilience, compliance, and environmental outcomes for future generations.

The Role

As Project Manager, you’ll take care of day-to-day project management from planning and forecasting through to change control and stakeholder communication. You’ll monitor commercial performance, identify risks early, and keep clients, designers, and manufacturing teams aligned to drive smooth delivery. You’ll support coordinators with routine tasks, ensuring teams clearly understand scope, programme and updates, and you’ll act as the main point of contact for the client—escalating key issues when required and supporting the development of new bids. With support from a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll maintain accurate reporting, meet contractual obligations, uphold CDM responsibilities, and champion safe, high-quality site delivery.

You will have the following qualifications & experience

Proven project management capability within infrastructure and/or engineering delivery environments
Strong planning, organisation and time-management skills with confident use of Word, Excel and MS Project
Commercial awareness with the ability to monitor performance and flag risk proactively
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to engage effectively at all levels
Comfortable working independently, using initiative, and supporting wider team delivery
Helpful understanding of electrical installations and control systems
Relevant engineering qualifications and strong project management knowledge
A positive, approachable style and openness to learning, training and formal reviewsApply now or get in touch with (url removed) to discuss this Project Manager opportunity in Greater London.
