Project Manager – M&E

Fareham, Hampshire | £65,000 + Company Vehicle

We're recruiting an experienced Project Manager to join an established M&E contractor based in Fareham, overseeing projects across the UK.

This role would suit someone with a strong mechanical and electrical project management background, ideally with a civil engineering bias. You'll manage multiple projects from start to finish, taking responsibility for programmes, budgets, site teams, health and safety, and client relationships.

The Role

* Manage multiple M&E projects from start to completion.

* Oversee project programmes, budgets, resources and quality.

* Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors and project staff.

* Build and maintain strong client relationships.

* Manage project finances, invoicing and variations.

* Ensure health and safety standards are maintained across all projects.

* Monitor progress, identify risks and resolve issues.

* Provide regular progress reports to senior management.

* Support estimating, tendering and site surveys when required.

Requirements

* Proven experience managing projects within the M&E or building services sector.

* Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical installation works.

* Experience managing project teams, subcontractors, budgets and programmes.

* Good commercial awareness, including cost control and variations.

* Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.

* Project management qualification or equivalent experience.

* Civil engineering experience and EUSR registration would be advantageous.

The Package

* £65,000, depending on experience.

* Company vehicle.

* UK-wide project work with travel required.

Location: Based within approximately two hours of Fareham, excluding London.
