Position Purpose:

This role is designed to lead larger-scale operational and engineering projects across Stericycle’s international region, there will also be a focus on managing multiple medium scales CAPEX improvement projects. Formal Project management training, an engineering background and experience of processing equipment and machinery will be required. 

Key Job Activities:

Produce, maintain, circulate and execute clear comprehensive project plans based upon business requirements.

Lead on elements of large-scale projects including but not limited to commissioning and decommissioning of waste process facilities and capital upgrade projects.

Deliver projects within agreed time and budget parameters.

Track project expenditure.

Provide regular project updates to senior managers and project stakeholders.

Coordinate plant engineering projects to execution.

Coordinate with OPS & Plant Engineering Managers to complete approved projects small/large

Use existing knowledge and experience to identify opportunities to reduce the time and cost of projects.

Contractor management and liaison.

Budget tracking and oversight.

Support/lead on capital upgrade projects at existing company facilities.

Provide regular project updates to Senior Management and stakeholders.

To support the wider engineering team in their activities whilst promoting best engineering practices across the group.

To attend training courses and seminars to maintain an up to date knowledge of legislative and/or technical changes. 

Demonstrates a commitment to continuous professional development and a commitment to current best practice.

Education:

Required Education:  Associate's or equivalent.

Experience (EMEAA):

Preferred Experience:   Extensive knowledge in specialized field.

Years of management experience preferred:   5-7 years.

Certifications and/or Licenses:

Required:            PRINCE2 Practitioner
