Are you an experienced Project Manager with a background in service improvement, partnership working or Criminal Justice services?
We are looking for a Project Manager to support the development and improvement of Women's Centre services across Hammersmith and Finsbury Park.
This is an exciting 12-week opportunity for someone with strong project management, service improvement and partnership-working experience to review existing Women's Centre activities and processes, identify opportunities for improvement and implement positive changes ahead of new permanent Women's Centre Coordinators joining the service.
About the role
The service provides holistic, trauma-informed and gender-responsive support to women in touch with the Criminal Justice System. This includes one-to-one support, safe Women's Centre spaces, specialist interventions and links with a range of community and statutory partners.
As Project Manager, you will lead the development, coordination and continuous improvement of the Women's Centre offer across both locations.
Synopsis of Duties
Review existing Women's Centre activities, processes and ways of working and identify opportunities for improvement. Lead and coordinate service improvement projects across Hammersmith and Finsbury Park. Map local needs and identify gaps in provision and support pathways. Develop and strengthen partnerships with statutory and voluntary sector organisations. Work closely with operational teams and senior leaders to implement positive changes. Monitor performance, analyse data and use feedback to inform service development. Maintain accurate data systems and produce regular monitoring reports. Support the development of innovative approaches to improve accessibility, engagement and outcomes for women. Ensure projects and centre-based initiatives are effectively planned, implemented and evaluated. Promote trauma-informed and gender-responsive approaches throughout the service. Understand and appropriately apply safeguarding procedures and risk assessment processes.
Essential Requirements
Experience managing projects, service improvement initiatives or community-based programmes. Strong experience of partnership working across statutory and voluntary sector organisations. Experience monitoring performance and using data to inform decision making. Experience maintaining data systems and producing monitoring reports. Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills. Strong organisational, planning and project management abilities. An understanding of safeguarding processes and risk assessment. A sound understanding of trauma-informed and gender-responsive practice. The ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with operational teams and senior stakeholders.
