  • Salary: £33,000 - £35,000

We are currently seeking a Project Officer to join a well-respected client of Reeds. This is a new role funded by a prominent religious organisation's Racial Justice Unit. The role is dynamic, with the potential for evolution and growth as project needs develop.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Develop and implement project plans for initiatives such as ‘From Action to Real Change’ and ‘From Lament to Action’.
  • Ensure project actions are well-planned, financially robust, and supported by suitable data and metrics to meet agreed targets and outcomes.
  • Identify and utilize qualitative and quantitative data to provide recommendations and develop a framework for data collection and collation.
  • Produce and develop reports that communicate progress against desired outcomes to key stakeholders including the Racial Justice Unit, Leadership Team, and Council.
  • Develop methods for measuring the success and effectiveness of the project and identify areas for continuous improvement.
  • Provide administrative support for the project, including arranging meetings, taking minutes, and maintaining project documentation.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders within the community at all levels, influencing effectively to ensure the implementation of recommendations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in project work, including planning, coordinating, and managing detailed projects.
  • A-Level standard education or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong planning, time management, and organisational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, with skills in PowerPoint and Excel for report creation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively interacting with a broad range of colleagues and stakeholders.
  • A supportive attitude towards the mission and willingness to work within its frameworks.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently with high levels of self-motivation.
  • Resilience and a proactive work approach.
