Project QS - Housebuilding

Your new company - a well-established housebuilder based near Bromley, delivering high-quality residential developments across the South East now seek a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join the stable commercial team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience on a major residential project while working alongside experienced professionals in a supportive environment. With multiple live schemes ranging from 30 - 150 units, work is diverse with a bias towards housing association partnerships. Working from a newly refurbished office in the greater Bromley area with regular visits to sites across North Kent.

Your new role as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial team in managing the financial and contractual aspects of the project. You will manage 1 to 2 projects reporting to a commercial manager, Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with cost planning, procurement, and tendering processes
• Preparing and reviewing subcontractor packages and valuations
• Monitoring project budgets and reporting on cost performance
• Supporting the preparation of monthly CVRs and final accounts
• Liaising with site teams, subcontractors, and the client
• Ensuring compliance with contractual and commercial obligations

What you'll need to succeed - You will hold a strong surveying background in the housebuilding or main contracting sector, You will be comfortable managing your own schemes and ideally hold degree or alternative surveying qualification. This is a permanent role with excellent opportunities for growth. You will be looking for a stable long-term career move in the Kent / SE Lomdon area.

What you'll get in return
Salary is subject to experience - between £45 - 65k p/a plus package
