Project Quantity Surveyor

An excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join an established infrastructure contractor, supporting a portfolio of civil engineering projects

This is a great opportunity for a commercially minded Quantity Surveyor to gain exposure to major infrastructure schemes while developing their career within a supportive and growing commercial team.

The Role

You will support the commercial management of projects from procurement through to final account, including:

Preparing applications for payment, variations, compensation events and final accounts.
Producing monthly CVRs, forecasts and commercial reports.
Managing subcontractor procurement, valuations and accounts.
Supporting change management, risks and opportunities.
Working closely with Project and Site Managers.
Administering NEC contracts and ensuring contractual compliance.
Supporting commercial decision-making across projects.About You

Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering and infrastructure.
Good knowledge of NEC contracts and Section 278 (S278) highway infrastructure works
Experience with sub-contract management, valuations, variations and final accounts.
Strong background working for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 main contractor
Strong commercial and financial management skills.
Relevant QS qualification or equivalent experience.
