Property Accountant - 1 day a week

Our client is part of a group of companies that buy land/properties to renovate and convert into flats or houses for resale or rentals. You will need access to a vehicle to reach their premises.

Job Summary

We are seeking an accountant (for one day a week) to manage the property side of the business.

This will be based in the office in Dartford, so you can easily liaise with the other colleagues regarding the properties and any information you may need. Start date is ASAP.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Posting and reconciliation of the main account and the maintenance of the other property bank accounts.
• Journal the movements of new mortgages, completion statements, property sales and finance relating to each company.
• Responsible for managing several companies and intercompany transactions and recharges.
• Ensure the rental spreadsheet is updated, recording all monies received from the various rental properties.

Requirements

• Experience working in the property market
• Be competent with Sage Line 50
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
