Property Clearance Operative

Totally Recruitment Ltd are seeking Property Clearance/Clean Operatives around the Sandwell area.

Our client is a very well established leading provider of vacant property services.

The below role will suit applicants who have previous experience within property clearance, general labouring and industrial cleaning however, applicants without experience are welcome to apply.

Successful applicants will need to attend an induction at site based in Garrett's Green prior to starting.

The Role:

As a Property Clearance/Clean Operative you will attending vacant properties and conducting clearance and cleaning duties.

• To drive the team van when required
• Clear and clean vacant social housing properties, both the interior and exterior gardens after the tenant has vacated the property.
• Remove any lounge, bedroom or kitchen furniture left behind.
• Remove any other items left behind by tenant including personal items / carpets / blinds & curtains
• Remove any old/damaged outbuildings/sheds from the garden
• Trim back hedges and overgrown grassed garden areas
• Board windows and doors to ensure they are secure
• Deliver and retrieve security keys
• Any other tasks as directed by the site manager
• Removal of needles, bodily fluids & other contaminated objects on occasions when needed
• To continually update the call centre during jobs where needed

Requirements

• Full clean drivers licence is essential
• Must live local to the area and transport will be provided to and from work in the training period
• No criminal convictions - a DBS will need to be completed upon a successful probationary period
• Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy items
• Good communication skills
• Safety Conscious
• Positive approach

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm 1 hour unpaid lunch break - You will be picked up before your shift and dropped home daily.

Additional Information:

The role is a temp - perm with further opportunities available within the business once permanent.

Once permanent, you will be required to be on call out and attend jobs outside of working hours on occasions.
