Douglas Scott are working with an award-winning law firm based in Altrincham that is looking to recruit a Property Finance Paralegal to join its growing team.

The firm is driven by a commitment to make a positive difference for clients, employees and the community. You will report directly to the Partner and Head of Commercial Property and help deliver an efficient and well-organised service.

You will manage a busy caseload of complex property finance matters, including acquisition finance, investment loans, capital raises and refinancing. You’ll conduct due diligence, review titles and legal documents, identify risks and provide high-quality advice to clients.

You will draft, review and negotiate loan agreements, facility agreements, security documents and related contracts, ensuring transactions comply with regulatory requirements and best practice. You’ll build strong client relationships through exceptional service and communication. You will handle multiple transactions simultaneously, meeting deadlines and service level agreements while working as part of a collaborative team.

We are looking for candidates with at least 12 months’ experience in a commercial property department.

You should have good technical and procedural knowledge, excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, a polished telephone manner and the ability to manage a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced environment.
