Property Litigation Associate

I am currently working with a reputable Legal 500 law firm in Birmingham who are looking for a Property Litigation Associate / Senior Associate to join their Commercial Property team. On offer is an established and supportive team, a competitive salary and a very clear pathway for progression.

About the role

As part of this experienced team, it is anticipated that you will gain exposure to a complex and broad range of Commercial Property Litigation matters. The successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive salary and excellent progression opportunities. Responsibilities will include:

• Dealing with a wide range of commercial property litigation issues, including, but not limited to:
  • Landlord and tenant disputes
  • Alienation disputes
  • Dilapidations
  • Easements & restrictive covenants
  • Real property agreements
• Taking an active role in the department's business development initiatives
• Managing own caseload and supervising juniors

About the Property Litigation Associate

The ideal candidate will be a UK qualified solicitor with over 4 years post qualification experience dealing with commercial property litigation. You will have excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail and due to the large volume of work you must be proficient at working in an organised and efficient manner. You will have sound drafting and negotiating skills and will thrive when working within a team on complex matters.
