Property Litigation Solicitor – Manchester/Birmingham

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Property Litigation Solicitor to join one of the UK’s most respected real estate disputes teams. This national firm is known for its collaborative culture, sharp legal insight and work with some of the most recognisable names across retail, leisure, development and the public sector.

As a Senior or Principal Associate, you’ll lead on complex and high-value litigation matters involving commercial landlord and tenant issues, investment and development-related disputes and strategic advisory work. You’ll also play a key role in mentoring junior lawyers, managing client relationships and contributing to business development.

The work will include:

• Lease renewals (1954 Act), break notices, dilapidations, forfeiture, rent/service charge disputes
• Rights of way, restrictive covenants, adverse possession and land registration challenges
• Telecoms, property-related insolvency and rights to light
• Supporting transactional teams on live development and investment matters
• Client management and contributing to thought leadership initiatives

What the firm is looking for:

• 5+ PQE Solicitor with a strong background in property litigation
• Excellent technical ability across landlord & tenant property work
• Commercially aware, confident in handling complex matters independently
• Experience working with institutional clients, or those in the retail or public sector
• A strong team player who enjoys developing others and driving team growth
