With a strong pipeline of work and the opportunity for additional earning potential, this is a great opportunity for an Engineer with building services skills within commercial environments. Benefits include (but are not exclusive to): Starting salary of c.£45kp.a Company van and fuel card Overtime opportunities Travel is paid door-to-door Immediate start available (subject to successful application process) Working on a variety of commercial jobs within the region Company pension scheme 30 days holiday (inc. Bank Holidays) Company uniform and specialist tools provided Requirements for this role: Recognised, industry-standard qualification (e.g Mechanical CSCS, JIB PMES, Electrical JIB card etc.) Mechanical bias required, with some exposure to Electrical building services too Previous FM/PPM experience, ideally on commercial projects Full UK Driving Licence - there will be travel involved in this role Experience with BMS controls and ideally basic M&E building services knowledge Desirable M&E qualifications include BS7671 (18th Ed.), F-Gas, HVAC qualifications, commercial gas certifications, 2391 Inspection & Testing Ability to work in live environments, with customers of various ages and backgrounds Duties include (but are not exclusive to): Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance across Mechanical and Electrical systems Fault finding on building services equipment in new-build commercial properties Mechanical and Electrical fault-finding, servicing, and PPM such as sanitary, power and lighting, HVAC equipment etc. Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and H&S standards Complete job reports, raising evidence and reports of larger issues Liaise with clients and site contacts Participate in on-call rota (if required) If you're looking to join a leading M&E building services contractor as a MEP Property Maintenance Engineer then please apply directly to the advert or email  for more information Meridian Business Support is a recruitment specialist acting on behalf of our client as an Employment Agency for this vacancy.
