Property Manager

Our client, a respected independent property management specialist, is seeking an experienced Property Manager to join their growing team. Based near Plymouth, the business focuses primarily on block management, offering a personal and professional service to residential clients across the region. With a small, close-knit team and a strong reputation for service, this role is ideal for a candidate looking to grow with a stable and supportive employer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of residential blocks, liaising with leaseholders, freeholders, and contractors to ensure buildings are maintained to a high standard. The business values practical experience and is happy to support ongoing CPD and training.

Property Manager Salary & Benefits

• Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 DOE

Property Manager Job Overview

• Manage a portfolio of residential block properties within a 1-hour radius of Plymouth
• Liaise with clients, leaseholders, and contractors to coordinate maintenance and repair works
• Organise and attend AGMs and residents' meetings
• Prepare and manage service charge budgets
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, including fire safety best practices
• Conduct regular site inspections and manage works orders
• Respond to client queries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner

Property Manager Job Requirements

• Prior experience in residential block management
• A relevant professional qualification (IRPM, ARMA, RICS) is desirable but not essential
• Strong knowledge of building maintenance and service charge budgeting
• Fire safety knowledge advantageous
• Full UK driving licence
• Based within commuting distance of Plymouth and willing to travel to sites
