It offers an opening to join a busy Northern property company and would suit somebody who is currently working as property manager and wants a change; or a property professional, looking to move into a more management-focused role.

Job Description for a Property Manager

• Maintaining and developing tenant relationships.
• Addressing tenant complaints, conducting inspections, contracting repairs, and enforcing rules of occupancy.
• Overseeing tenant moves alongside coordination of leases and agreements.
• Reviewing rents and negotiating increases/reductions in line with market values.
• Completing ongoing property maintenance.
• Chasing arrears.
• Managing a multi-property portfolio (170+ properties) as part of a team.
• Updating listings and conducting lettings negotiations.

Job skills required for a Property Manager

• Effective communicator.
• Proven experience in the property sector.
• Highly organised with good time management.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Computer literate including Microsoft Office and in particular Excel.
• Proactive with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Must be a driver and have own car.
