Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm, with 1 in 5 Saturdays on a rota basis, 9:00am – 2:00pm.
The Opportunity
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Property Manager to join a forward-thinking and fast-growing estate agency in Long Eaton.
The successful candidate will take pride in their work, have excellent attention to detail and be passionate about delivering a high level of service to landlords and tenants.
The role will involve managing a portfolio of properties, maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring properties remain compliant, well maintained and professionally managed.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing day-to-day relationships with landlords and tenants.
* Organising and managing an individual workload effectively.
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with contractors and suppliers.
* Providing advice and support to landlords and tenants regarding residential lettings and relevant legislation.
* Ensuring rental properties are maintained to a suitable and habitable standard in line with HHSRS requirements.
* Ensuring all property management and compliance requirements are consistently met.
* Monitoring and managing rent arrears.
* Assisting with the serving of Section Notices.
* Maintaining accurate records and updating Microsoft Excel with relevant daily figures.
* Providing an exceptional level of customer service and encouraging positive client feedback and testimonials.
* Working towards company and team targets and contributing to the continued growth of the business.
* Resolving issues and problems quickly and professionally.
* Working effectively both independently and as part of a wider team.
* Going the extra mile to deliver an excellent service to landlords and tenants.
About the Successful Candidate
The following experience and skills are essential:
* Proven experience within property management or residential lettings.
* Confident using IT systems, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
The ideal candidate will also be:
