Property Manager – Chelmsford, Essex

Salary: £26,000–£28,000 per annum (including bonus)

About the Role

LCA Recruitment is looking for an experienced Property Manager to join a well-established and successful property business in Chelmsford.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy environment, building relationships with landlords and tenants, and delivering excellent customer service.

You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring maintenance, compliance and tenancy matters are handled efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage a portfolio of residential rental properties.

* Build and maintain relationships with landlords and tenants.

* Coordinate property maintenance and repairs with contractors.

* Arrange property inspections and follow up on any issues.

* Ensure properties comply with relevant legislation and safety requirements.

* Handle tenant enquiries, complaints and maintenance requests.

* Manage tenancy renewals and associated administration.

* Maintain accurate records and provide excellent customer service.

Skills and Experience

* Previous experience in residential property management.

* Excellent communication and organisational skills.

* Good understanding of residential lettings legislation.

* Ability to manage workloads and prioritise effectively.

* Confident dealing with landlords, tenants and contractors.

* Strong attention to detail and good IT skills.

Salary and Benefits

* £26,000–£28,000 per annum, including bonus.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm.

Approximately one Saturday in six, working remotely, with time off in lieu where applicable.
