Property Manager – Maintenance & Compliance

Salary: £30,000 per annum

Location: Birmingham

We are seeking an organised and proactive Property Manager to join a growing business, overseeing day-to-day property maintenance, tenant communication and property management administration.

This role would suit someone with at least 2 years' experience in property management or lettings, who is confident managing maintenance issues, dealing with tenants and keeping properties compliant.

Key Responsibilities

* Coordinate maintenance and repairs, liaising with contractors and tenants.

* Manage rent arrears and follow up on outstanding payments.

* Handle deposit disputes and assist with eviction processes.

* Monitor safety certificates and ensure property compliance requirements are met.

* Keep up to date with relevant legislation and industry changes.

* Provide excellent customer service and identify opportunities to improve processes.

The Ideal Candidate

* At least 2 years' relevant property management or lettings experience.

* Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.

* Confident dealing with tenants, contractors and challenging situations.

* Able to work independently and as part of a team.

* A proactive approach with the ability to suggest new ideas and improvements.
