Description

• Conduct market appraisals and convert valuations into instructions.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and contractors.

• Ensure full compliance with all relevant legislation, including ARLA Propertymark, Right to Rent, and GDPR.

• Monitor and manage the tenancy application process from instruction through to move-in.

• Maximise income and profitability through effective management and negotiation.

• Develop and implement strategies to grow the lettings portfolio.

• Handle landlord and tenant queries and resolve issues efficiently and professionally.

• Prepare regular reports on lettings performance for senior management.

• Stay updated with changes in legislation and the local property market.

Profile

• Proven experience in residential lettings, ideally in a managerial or senior negotiator role.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Excellent knowledge of lettings legislation and compliance.

• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.

• Full UK driving licence (if role requires property visits).

• ARLA Propertymark qualification (preferred or willingness to obtain).

• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
