The Role
As the Property Operations Administrator, you will be a member of the UK Estates Delivery team where you will provide support delivering planned or requested activities which will depend on the requirements of the individual task in order to effectively deliver high-quality property operations services to our customers and colleagues alike.

Your responsibilities will include:

• To provide helpdesk support, processing work requests received through the Maintenance Management System (MMS); currently SAP


• To build valid work orders from MMS notifications (assigning it to an appropriate person)


• To administer maintenance work orders


• To respond to customer enquiries by telephone or email, updating MMS with progress on outstanding work orders


• Filing and archiving of all works orders and associated paperwork / process documentation ensuring all work orders are closed correctly within company policy guidelines with any contractor Statutory certification attached

Essential experience of the Property Operations Administrator: 

• Ability to communicate confidently with a range of people


• Ability to work within procedures with limited supervision and guidance


• Good organisational skills with the ability to multi-task

Desirable qualifications for the Property Operations Administrator:

• To have attained a Level 3 NVQ in Business Administration (or similar field) OR provide evidence of recent relevant administrative experience in a similar role


• Able to demonstrate a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other IT applications

This role is 37 hours per week and is based out of our Benbecula facility in the Hebrides and this is a full-time onsite position but with flexibility of hours given.

BUTEC

BUTEC (British Underwater Test & Evaluation Centre) is a specialised facility focused on underwater testing and evaluation. It supports the development and assessment of various maritime systems including submarines, autonomous underwater vehicles and naval munitions. Working towards the advancement of underwater technology including innovations in sonar, navigation and communication systems in real-world scenarios.

Please note that all applicants for this role must be eligible for SC clearance, as a minimum.
