Property Paralegal

Join an award-winning Property department at a leading law firm in the south of England. We are seeking a talented Paralegal to enhance the Plot Sales team. This role is ideal for someone with a keen interest in property law and a desire to work in a dynamic, supportive environment.

• Pre-exchange Tasks:

  • Prepare contract packs and send them to buyer’s solicitors.
  • Handle enquiries and maintain a set of precedent replies to enquiries on each development.
  • Constant liaison with the developer client’s representative to keep them updated.

• Exchange of Contracts (under supervision):

  • Liaise with clients regarding completion dates.
  • Notify clients, selling agents, and lenders when exchanges take place.
  • Produce completion statements for both the buyer and the client.

• Completion Tasks:

  • Coordinate with lenders to meet their completion requirements.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation is signed by the client and sent to the buyer.
  • Confirm completion to the selling agent and settle their commission.
  • Manage file closure procedures efficiently.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and a high-volume caseload.
• Good attention to detail.
• Proficient IT and keyboard skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong teamwork capabilities.
• Previous experience in residential conveyancing or plot sales is desirable but not essential.
