Bell Cornwall Recruitment are pleased to be hiring a Property Accountant for a fantastic practice based in the Edgbaston area of Birmingham. They are looking for a Property Service Charge Accountant to join their property services team.

The responsibilities of a Property Service Charge Accountant:

• Review and supervise team members.
• Preparation of Service Charge Accounts for a variety of managing agents and individual residential management companies
• Client management
• Reconciliation of accounts and cashbooks
• Year-end expenditure reports
• Ensuring accurate accounts are produced and submitted to Companies House on time.
• Ad hoc duties within the team that's align with the role

Skills Needed:

• Experience within a similar role in practice is critical
• General MS, IT and email/internet knowledge is essential
• Exceptional communication skills are necessary as communicating with clients and colleagues is a key part of the role
• An excellent attention to detail, accuracy and a high degree of numeracy and literacy are key
• The candidate would need to be a team player with a professional approach when dealing with overseeing a team
• Knowledge of accounting software's such at Sage, Xero and more
