About The Job role: Gap Personnel are looking for a dedicated Property Standards & Compliance Coordinator to join our Clients well established team and help create pathways to independence for their residents. Our Client is committed to delivering safe, compliant, and high-quality homes that empower residents to live safely, independently, and with dignity.
Job Purpose
As a Property Standards & Compliance Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring our properties meet legislative requirements, organisational standards, and residents' expectations. You will coordinate property inspections, repairs, maintenance, contractor performance, and statutory compliance across the property portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out routine, scheduled, and responsive property inspections, identifying repairs, maintenance needs, and compliance issues. Coordinate repairs from initial identification through to completion, ensuring work is prioritised and completed to a high standard. Support compliance with statutory requirements, including fire, gas, electrical safety, water hygiene, and health & safety legislation. Develop and maintain effective relationships with contractors, residents, and colleagues. Maintain accurate electronic records and produce reports on repairs, compliance, and contractor performance. Identify recurring maintenance issues and recommend long-term improvements. Contribute to continuous improvement of property standards and resident satisfaction.
What We’re Looking For
Experience in property management, compliance, or a related field. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Strong attention to detail and sound judgement. Ability to build positive professional relationships with residents, colleagues, and contractors. Proficiency in using digital systems for record-keeping and reporting. Commitment to compnaies values: Integrity, Transforming, and Proactive. Willingness to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.
