We are working with a prestigious established London market insurer who have an opening for an experienced Property Underwriter. This position would suit a highly technical underwriter with a strong understanding of the property business class and who is able to demonstrate they fully understand risk selection. You may have renewals experience and be looking for a role which also incorporates new business, or you may be working in Commercial Combined at the moment and looking to focus on monoline, all of these scenarios will be considered but a technical approach will be a must. This is an experienced and supportive team and underwriters are given a good amount of freedom to make underwriting choices, with the portfolio spanning a broad range of industries.
