Salary: £30,000 basic + OTE £65,000-£70,000

Our client is seeking a talented and driven Protection Advisor to join their growing team. While the company is headquartered in Stockport, this role offers full flexibility to work from home.

As a Protection Advisor, you'll play a vital role in helping clients secure their financial future. You'll assess individual needs and recommend tailored protection solutions including life insurance, income protection, and critical illness cover.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct detailed fact-finds and needs analyses with clients

- Recommend appropriate protection products based on client circumstances

- Clearly explain insurance options and terms in a client-friendly manner

- Ensure full compliance with FCA regulations and internal standards

- Build and maintain long-term client relationships

- Liaise with insurers and underwriters to secure competitive terms

- Consistently meet and exceed performance targets and KPIs

Skills & Experience

- Previous experience in financial services or insurance advisory (protection experience preferred)

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Self-motivated with the ability to manage a remote client portfolio

- Familiarity with CRM systems and digital tools

- CeMAP or equivalent qualification (preferred but not essential)

- FCA-authorised or willing to work towards authorisation.
