Prototype Machinist

Join our Clients innovative team as a Prototype R&D Machinist at their office in the heart of Basingstoke. This role is ideal for a semi-skilled individual with a passion for engineering and a desire to develop within a thriving company.

• Manual and CNC machining of precision components.
• Interpretation and understanding of technical drawings.
• Conduct quality inspections and testing to company standards.
• Assemble components (training will be provided).
• Engage in low volume, tight tolerance manufacturing which allows for broad learning opportunities.

• A good basic level of education.
• Engineering machining experience.
• Proficiency in CAM systems and operation of CNC machines.
• Computer literate, able to use Microsoft Office.
• Methodical with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proactive and flexible approach to work.
• Preferably local to Basingstoke.
