This role involves:

• Learners working at age related expectations academically
• Learners who require significant social and emotional support
• Developing the learners' resilience, social skills and self-esteem
• Planning and delivering a curriculum that is relevant and engaging
• Learning and utilising the special interests and skills of the learners
• Planning and supervising off site and outdoor learning opportunities
• Planning and supervising break times and social situations
• Significant autonomy
• Generous allocation of PPA
• High Quality CPD

You will be working with a group of up to 6 learners, and success is determined by their progress in developing positive relationships - although academic progress is important, this is not the only metric. Most importantly, you will be given time and space to truly nurture and support these learners so they are able to build resilience and self-confidence.
