Job Title: Non-Qualified SEN Teacher – PSHE
Pay Rate: £24,071.90
Location: Warwickshire - Leamington Spa
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Non-Qualified SEN Teacher to deliver PSHE lessons in an outdoor learning environment for students aged 11-19 with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). This role is ideal for individuals with experience supporting children in line with their academic and pastoral targets, fostering a nurturing and inclusive educational setting. 

Key Responsibilities
•    Plan and deliver engaging PSHE lessons tailored to students’ individual needs
•    Build trusting relationships to support students’ emotional and academic development
•    Use behaviour management techniques with a focus on resolution and reflection
•    Encourage outdoor learning experiences to enhance student engagement
•    Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals
•    Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies accordingly
•    Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and Keeping Children Safe in Education legislation
•    Contribute to the overall ethos and positive environment of the school

Essential Experience & Skills
•    Minimum of 2 years’ experience supporting children with ASC
•    Strong understanding of behaviour management and de-escalation techniques
•    Ability to work collaboratively with professionals, parents, and carers
•    Experience delivering education outside of a conventional classroom setting
•    Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies

Preferred Qualifications
•    Team Teach or relevant safe handling training
•    First Aid certification
•    Autism Level 1 & 2 qualifications
