Pay : £31,650 - £49,084

I am looking for a knowledgeable and engaging Psychology Teacher to teach KS4 in a secondary school, located in Bath. The role involves delivering high-quality lessons that develop critical thinking , research skills and applied knowledge of the curriculum. The school offers a supportive and inclusive environment with a strong academic focus. There is a clear emphasis on student wellbeing, high standards of behaviour and building independent thinkers.

The role starts in September as a permanent position. The role would suit a teacher with a genuine passion for the subject who can create stimulating lessons and a ability to direct and adapt curriculum to support individual needs.

Responsibilities :

• Plan and deliver Psychology lessons in line with the national curriculum

• Encourage participation in classes.

• Foster an exciting and secure environment of learning.

• Monitor student progress and adapt lesson plans accordingly

• Work collaboratively with the Psychology department and wider staff.

Requirements :

• QTS

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Experience working in secondary schools

• Strong subject knowledge and lesson delivery skills.

• Effective classroom and behaviour management

• Understanding of safeguarding procedures.
