About the Role

A prestigious Independent school in Barnet is seeking a dedicated Psychology Teacher to join their social sciences department. You will deliver engaging psychology lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5, fostering students' understanding of human behaviour and mental processes.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Psychology Teacher lessons, tailored to the curriculum.


• Prepare students for examinations and assessments.


• Develop students' understanding of human behaviour and mental processes.


• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.


• Contribute to the development of the psychology curriculum and resources.


• Organise and lead psychology-related extracurricular activities.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Psychology.


• Proven experience in teaching psychology at secondary level, including A-Level.


• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for psychology.


• Excellent communication and analytical skills.


• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
