Position Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a strong passion for psychology to inspire and educate young minds. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing students' understanding of the human mind and behavior, fostering critical thinking, and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging and informative psychology lessons aligned with the national curriculum and school's educational philosophy across Key Stages 4 and 5.


• Create a supportive and stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation, exploration, and inquiry.


• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.


• Collaborate with colleagues within the Social Sciences department and wider school community to enhance the quality of teaching and learning.


• Stay abreast of current developments in psychological research and teaching methodologies.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Psychology or a closely related field.


• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.


• Proven experience teaching Psychology at the secondary level, ideally across Key Stages 4 and 5.
