The successful Psychology Teacher will inspire female students in Key Stages 4 and 5 to explore the fascinating world of the human mind and behaviour.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging and effective Psychology Teacher lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5.


• Prepare students thoroughly for A-Level Psychology examinations.


• Develop students' understanding of key psychological theories, research methods, and ethical considerations.


• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback as a Psychology Teacher.


• Contribute to the ongoing development of the psychology curriculum and resources.


• Encourage critical thinking and an appreciation for the complexity of human behaviour.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Psychology.


• Proven experience teaching Psychology at secondary level, ideally including A-Level.


• Strong and comprehensive knowledge of psychological theories and research.


• Excellent communication and presentation skills tailored for engaging girls.


• Ability to inspire and motivate students in the study of Psychology.
