The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teaching and support staff to help students make progress both academically and personally.

You will have the opportunity to:

Support students across the school in their day-to-day learning

Provide one-to-one and small-group support where required

Assist teachers during lessons and classroom activities

Build positive and trusting relationships with students

Support students with their confidence, engagement and behaviour

Apply your understanding of psychology to support students’ individual needs

Gain valuable experience working with students with a range of abilities and needs

Develop your classroom skills and understanding of effective teaching

Work alongside experienced teachers and pastoral staff

Gain first-hand experience of life within a busy school environment
