P/T Accounts Assistant

We are currently working alongside an SME business based in Blackburn who are looking for a P/T Accounts Assistant to work in the finance department and support the finance manager. (Approx . 25 hours)
The business works within a niche area of expertise but are the leading provider across the UK, they have a solid customer base and have worked closely with them year on year, so relationship building and customer service is high on the agenda.
Duties as Accounts Assistant will include: -
Process the purchase ledger invoices, matching orders and delivery notes with a full authorisation process.

Produce the supplier statement and monthly payment schedule.

Monitor the credit control process and cashflow, particularly are seasonal peaks, raising credit notes where required.

Collate the payroll details on a weekly basis and liaise with departmental managers on changes.

Assist the Finance Manager with controls and processes across the department.

Support the preparation of the audit pack and associated paperwork.
