PT&D Document Controller

The Opportunity

Our client are seeking a Document Controller to support their Power Transmission & Distribution projects across the UK.

You'll be responsible for maintaining accurate project documentation across BIM 360 Docs, SharePoint and client systems, ensuring information is accessible, up to date and managed in line with project requirements.

Working closely with engineering teams, clients and subcontractors, you'll support digital information management, document workflows and the rollout of BIM 360 across projects.

Key Responsibilities

Manage project documentation across BIM 360, SharePoint and client systems.

Maintain document registers, drawing records and information workflows.

Support BIM 360 project setup, user permissions and document processes.

Ensure information is reviewed, issued and exchanged in line with project requirements.

Provide BIM 360 training and support to project teams and subcontractors.

Assist with information audits, reporting and compliance checks.

Print and issue construction drawings to site where required.

Work with project teams to improve document control processes.

Requirements

Essential:

Experience in Document Control or Document Management.

Understanding of engineering projects and processes.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable:

Experience using BIM 360 Docs.

Background in construction, utilities or power infrastructure.

Knowledge of engineering drawings and document workflows.

Awareness of BIM processes and ISO 19650 / BS 1192.
