PTW Coordinator

Permit to work Coordinator – Tier 1 EPC Contractor – Major Energy Construction Projects – Carbon Capture & Storage

* Outside IR35

* £550 - £600 per day - depending on experience

* 12-24 Month Contract

* 5.5 Days per week (Saturday mornings when required – 5 hours)

* Weekly Pay

* Based on site - Talacre, North Wales

* Start in Nov

* On-site facilities for food; parking available

Ceto Talent is recruiting for an experienced Permit to Work Coordinator to join one of the UK’s largest carbon capture energy transition projects.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a long-term major Tier 1 EPC project supporting the engineering, development and construction phases of a major Liverpool Bay decommissioning and Carbon Capture & Storage development.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage and coordinate the site-wide Permit to Work system.

* Review, assess, issue and authorise permits.

* Chair daily PTW coordination meetings.

* Identify conflicting activities and manage SIMOPS.

* Coordinate with Area Authorities, contractors and subcontractors.

* Verify isolations, gas testing, P&IDs and supporting safety documentation.

* Conduct site walkthroughs and monitor active permits.

* Maintain PTW registers, close-outs, audits and compliance.

* Identify hazards and ensure safe execution of site activities.

Essential Candidate Requirements

* Proven years experience working in Permit to Work roles within Oil & Gas, or ideally COMAH level construction projects.

* Proven experience as a PTW Coordinator, PTW Officer, Permit Controller or similar.

* PTW Ticket

* Strong understanding of SIMOPS, isolations, gas testing and control of work procedures.

* Experience coordinating multiple contractors and conflicting work activities.

* Ability to manage daily PTW meetings and site permit compliance.

Other:

* Right to work in the UK without sponsorship/visa

* Ability to work Saturday mornings when required
