Salary: £32,070 - £34,359 per annum (pro-rata for part-time) (Pay award pending)


Working Hours: 37 hours per week - Monday to Friday, Full Time, occasional evening and weekend work when service needs require


Contract Type: Permanent

About the Role


The post holder will work as a member of the Weight Management Team to deliver digital and community based support to promote positive changes to dietary behaviour for people planning a pregnancy, pregnant or post pregnancy. The post holder will mainly be responsible for delivery, evaluation and development of our pregnancy related programmes for the residents of Leicestershire, but this will not exclude other areas of the Weight Management Service. Delivery will be to a variety of audiences including 1:1 and group settings, remotely and face-face. 


An enhanced DBS check is required for this post.

About You


To apply for this post, you must:



  • Have several years of undergraduate degree or post graduate degree in Nutrition/Dietetics or BSc Degree in Human Nutrition, Public Health Nutrition or similar subject area

  • Have gained experience of various ways of caseload management and delivering services

  • Have gained experience working with diverse groups and individuals to provide evidence based information and can give examples of this, linking in preparation, delivery and evaluation 

  • Aware of current topical public health nutritional issues whilst working within the scope of a Nutritionist

  • Be able to work as part of a team and offer support within all areas of the Weight Management Service when required

  • Have a full UK driving license and access to a car
