Job Description - Public Relations Account Executive
Are you ready to embark on a challenging yet rewarding journey in the dynamic world of interiors PR? We're seeking a talented and driven individual to join our team as an Account Executive (AE). This role requires initiative, multitasking prowess, and a passion for cultivating relationships – both within our team and with our esteemed clients.
Key Responsibilities:
As an AE, you'll be immersed in a variety of tasks, including:
Press liaison:
Serve as the primary point of contact for press, stylists, and influencers. Foster relationships with journalists and proactively seek opportunities to showcase our clients. Media coverage:
Monitor various media outlets for client coverage and industry trends. Log all coverage and generate comprehensive reports. Event organisation:
Coordinate and manage press events including compiling and managing guestlists, researching venues and working with suppliers. Sample management:
Organise product sample loans and discounts for stylists, editorial teams, and commercial ventures. Client handling/management:
Assist in meeting preparation, minute-taking, and post-meeting documentation. Reporting:
Assist in preparing monthly reports and coverage documents. Writing:
Craft compelling content for press mailers, press releases, and expert commentary. Business development:
Research and contribute ideas for new business pitches. Industry knowledge:
Stay updated on trends and developments in the interiors market. General admin:
Efficiently manage multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining smooth processes to uphold high standards of performance Creative:
Think outside the box, communicate effectively to deliver innovative solutions Effective:
Lead by example, take ownership, be professional, passionate, and positive Integrity and Honesty:
Act with integrity, honesty, and consistency in all endeavours Collaborative:

Qualifications & skills: Previous experience in PR, communications, or related roles is preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to multitask, prioritise, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in MS Office suite and social media platforms Excellent organisational and time-management abilities A keen eye for detail and a passion for creativity
