Job Description - Public Sector Sales Manager

We are recruiting for a leading provider of innovative SaaS solutions designed to streamline operations, enhance productivity, and drive digital transformation in the public sector.

The role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Public Sector IT Sales Manager to join the team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities within the public sector. You will work closely with government agencies, educational institutions, and non-profit organizations to understand their challenges and demonstrate how our SaaS solutions can meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets in the public sector.
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities through networking, research, and outreach.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in government agencies, educational institutions, and non-profit organizations.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value and benefits of our

SaaS solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure customer satisfaction and success.
- Negotiate and close deals, ensuring favourable terms and conditions for both the client and the company.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to adapt sales strategies as needed.

Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in sales, particularly within the public sector.
- Strong understanding of SaaS products and their applications in the public sector.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Familiarity with government procurement processes and regulations is a plus.

Salary - £110-120k + Commission
