Job Description - Public Sector Senior Sales Account Manager Managed Print Services

To £35K Basic – circa £70K OTE (Uncapped Commission Scheme) + Car Allowance (or company car) + Corporate Benefits Package!

Our client is one of the UK’s leading managed print services providers, partnering with global vendors to deliver high-performance solutions focused on achieving greater utilisation, maintenance and optimisation of their clients print technology environment.

To drive continued success across their East of Scotland region, they are looking to attract a highly experienced managed print services sales professional with a successful track record of winning new public sector accounts and developing an existing portfolio of clients.

The successful applicant will assume responsibility for:

Developing and delivering a new business sales plan by Identifying and cultivating new public sector prospects within the region
Creating and delivering an account development plan, aimed at cross-selling, upselling, and retention within an existing public sector client portfolio
Research, consult, scope, and advise on how to improve the MPS environment and performance versus cost in each client account
Deliver pricing proposals which ensure margin performance is achieved and successfully manage the entire sales process to a close
Maintain an accurate record of existing and prospective client activity by effectively updating the company CRM
Liaise with relevant vendors to ensure all development opportunities are maximised
Schedule attendance at relevant networking events and industry conferences

Candidates will likely possess the following skills, experience, and personal attributes:

Extensive experience gained selling Managed Print Services or associated Workplace Technology Solutions to Public Sector clients in the region
Highly experienced in winning new business and delivering against account development plans and roadmaps
A consultative approach and ability to pinpoint improvement areas to ensure each client achieves a ‘purpose built’ and bespoke solution
Excellent communication skills and the ability to create and effectively deliver compelling presentations to a wide range of clients and stakeholders
Strong commercial understanding with accomplished decision-making and negotiation skills
A positive, enthusiastic, and focused approach with a strong determination for success
