Publisher Support Advisor | Publishing Services | London | Permanent | Hybrid
Are you a client -focused problem solver with an aptitude for systems and a love of publishing? In this Publisher Support Advisor role, you will work with publishers across the globe, making a real difference to their businesses every day.
Our partner: Our partner is a London -based software company with a global reach. Their specialist tools support the publishing industry, helping teams streamline editorial, rights and royalties, and production workflows. Known for their highly personal approach and strong client relationships, they combine technical know -how with deep industry understanding to deliver effective solutions across the publishing landscape.
Responsibilities:
- Address customer queries promptly, providing effective solutions within agreed timescales.
- Respond to client queries promptly via the helpdesk, ensuring timely, practical resolutions.
- Collaborate with colleagues to triage, prioritise and solve technical issues efficiently.
- Deliver client training and communicate effectively during downtimes or updates.
- Keep internal documentation and customer records accurate and up to date.
- Contribute to support content, system improvements, and social media updates.
Experience and skills that will deliver success in this role: You will be an organised and motivated communicator, with a track record of delivering support services and an ability to work autonomously within a collaborative team.
Essential:
- Experience in customer service and office -based admin roles.
- Confidence managing databases and CRM systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work independently, act on initiative, and prioritise multiple tasks.
- Quick to pick up industry knowledge and stay up to speed on developments.
- Some experience in publishing or supporting digital products.
- Excellent phone manner and technical aptitude.
Desirables:
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Experience with platforms like Outlook, MS Teams or Zendesk.
- Knowledge of InDesign, Canva or similar tools.

What's on offer:
- Salary: c.£27,000 p.a., depending on experience
- Working pattern: Full -time, Hybrid (min.3 days/week in the London office)
- Reports to: Publisher Support Manager
