As we continue to grow, we're looking for a skilled and motivated Diesel Pump Engineer to join our team and play a key role in supporting customers across construction, utilities, infrastructure and industrial sectors.
The Role
As a Diesel Pump Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring our fleet of diesel-powered pumps remains safe, reliable and ready for deployment. You'll work both in the depot and on customer sites, carrying out servicing, repairs, installations and breakdown response while delivering exceptional customer service.
This is a hands-on position offering variety, responsibility and excellent opportunities for progression and professional development.
Key Responsibilities
* Service, maintain and repair a wide range of diesel-powered pumps and associated equipment.
* Carry out inspections, cleaning, testing and preventative maintenance in line with company procedures.
* Diagnose faults and respond promptly to equipment breakdowns.
* Attend customer sites to carry out repairs and provide technical support.
* Install and de-install pumping equipment at customer locations.
* Assist customers with troubleshooting and initial fault diagnosis.
* Complete service records and maintenance documentation accurately.
* Ensure all equipment is presented to the highest operational and safety standards.
* Maintain compliance with company health and safety procedures at all times.
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience working with pumps, diesel engines, plant machinery or related mechanical equipment.
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
* CSCS Card.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Flexible, positive and proactive approach to work.
